Introducing Reference 18

Our Reference sub features a high excursion 18" sub driver and an Australian made 32mm MDF cabinet. It is an articulate and clean sounding sub that is biased towards music use due to its sealed cabinet, although its considerable displacement makes it also well suited to home cinema use.

Why bring a sub to the market?

The market is flooded with 12" subs but I am finding that many of my acoustics clients appreciate something more. For many the option to go beyond existing subs on the market leads to multiple subs and it starts to become more expensive. This sub will do the work of around four 12" sealed subs without costing four times the price. I developed this sub as an option for my clients.

Auditions

Auditions can somtimes be arranged, depending on what we have available at the time. Generally they are a poor indication of the result you will get in your room. The reality is that whilst we design and sell many kinds of subs that appear appear radically different, they all sound very similar once integrated correctly. However, if you prefer a demonstration to appreciate the kind of result you can achieve with our subs, we can accomodate.
